Due to the closure of the pedestrian path of Lake Toblino from June 15th to November 30th, the first part of the 1st stage of the Cammino dei 7 Laghi undergoes a temporary change of route as per the attached file that we ask everyone to download.
The temporary route will take you from Sarche to Ponte Oliveti and then, straight after the bridge, turn left to continue along the Masi di Calavino crops to reach a paved agricultural road. There you turn left continuing straight, DO NOT take the road uphill to Calavino but try to stay on the road that carries on downhill and will take you to the ‘Due Laghi’ area next to the Il Giardino delle Spezie restaurant. From there you will carry on along the sidewalk on the left that runs alongside the provincial road. This will take till the entrance of the town of Santa Massenza where the route resumes regular up to Monte Terlago.
This route must be taken AT THE END OF STAGE V, towards the end of Cammino dei 7 laghi Cammino dei 7 laghi. Once you reach the end of the Roggia di Calavino route in the Due Laghi fish farm, you must turn left and go up the asphalt road in the middle of the woods that takes you to the Masi di Calavino, a place filled with vineyards. Continue straight until you reach the entrance to the dirt road on your right, which goes down through the vineyards and reaches Ponte Oliveti. From there you will reach Sarche in 1 km more or less.
IMPORTANT THAT THE WALKER MUST FOLLOW THE ROUTE ATTACHED HERE, IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION TO STAGE I.
