2° STAGE: MONTE TERLAGO - VEZZANO
The second stage of the Cammino dei Sette Laghi leads from Monte Terlago to Vezzano. The first stretch twists the picturesque Prada meadow plateau, at the foot of Mount Paganella, which looms to the west with its steep slopes culminating in bold rock faces. We then reach the Lamar Lakes, two small but picturesque lake basins set in coniferous and beech forests. The route, with forest roads, then crosses the wooded hill of Selva Faeda and descends to Lake Terlago, another basin of karst origin naturally subject to large changes in level. The path, after passing through the town of Terlago goes towards the south facing an environment of fields and orchards on the cycle/pedestrian path until reaching the destination, the town of Vezzano.

NOTES AND VARIATIONS TO THE ROUTE
The stage, not short but largely downhill, leaves time for a highly recommended visit to the town centers along the route. The presence of brown bears in the area of the first section of the stage requires you to pay attention to the instructions on the signs placed along the route and in particular to always keep any dogs on a leash.
