4° Stage: VIGO CAVEDINE - PIETRAMURATA
CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS
The section of trail from Drena Castle to the road below (SP84) is closed for construction. Walkers must follow the footpath on the left side of the SP84 provincial road until after the hairpin bend, then cross to the right side and take the trail marked by the arrow for the Cammino dei Sette Laghi.
SMALL DETOUR DUE TO OBSTACLES
Once you reach Lake Cavedine, follow the path that runs alongside it. At a certain point, you will see a warning sign and, after about 200 metres, a barrier blocking the path due to a landslide. You can pass through, taking care to avoid the rocks on the path. The section is no more than 10 metres long.
The section of the path will be repaired shortly. You can avoid passing through this point by turning left 300 metres before it. You will find an uphill path that takes you directly to the dirt road (the one above the path along the lake). When you reach it, turn left and after a few metres you will find the uphill path on your right with an arrow signposting the route. Continue along the original path. This shortcut allows you to avoid the 10 metres of path with fallen rocks.
